Welcome to Jokimaja – your temporary home in Finnish Lapland. Here, where the river is frozen in winter, the Northern Lights illuminate the sky, and silence becomes tangible, you can enjoy a stay filled with warmth, personality, and authentic experiences. 

Our small, charming family-run guesthouse has eight individually designed rooms, inspired by the seasons of the Sámi. My name is Kerstin and as your host I will cook for you personally – from homemade breakfast with freshly baked bread to thoughtfully prepared theme menus. 

Our Philosophy at Jokimaja: At Jokimaja, we want to offer you a place of relaxation, warmth, and community. Whether you get comfortable on a daybed by the fireplace with a cup of tea and a good book or spend the evening in good company at the large Jokimaja dining table – you decide how your winter day comes to an end. Shared meals, freshly baked cake in the afternoon, and selected dinner menus create special moments. 

As our guest, you are not just a visitor but an inspiration: for new ideas, recipes, and encounters.
