How to get to Jokimaja
By Air:
Your destination airport in Finland is Kittilä, north of the Arctic Circle. The drive to Levi takes about 15 minutes. From Zurich and Munich, there are convenient direct flights in the winter months that bring you to Kittilä in 3.5 hours. From any other airport, you can reach Kittilä via Helsinki.
By Car:
From Germany, Switzerland or Austria, it is recommended to first take the ferry(www.finnlines.com) from Travemünde to Helsinki. From there, it is about 1000 km by car to Levi – a scenic route through Finland. Alternatively, you can comfortably take the overnight train (vr.fi) from Helsinki to Rovaniemi and then drive the last 170 km to Levi in a relaxed manner.
By Train: The Santa Claus Express conveniently takes travellers overnight from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. Or you can take the car train to Kolari.
